If You Had Superpowers, How Would You Change the World?

I watched this J Cole series when he was performing new songs from his new Album Forest Hills. In this series it showed Cole traveling and doing promotion for his new Album. In one scene he went back to St. John University to pick up his degree and performed for his old school. This show really touched my heart because I have been listening to J Cole since 2008. I've loved his music from the beginning and I still love it now. I notice that J Cole puts a lot of time to going to schools and performing around kids. For promotion for his album he let kids from different high schools around the United States go to the house he grew up in and listen to his new album. He also went to the house of selected fans and let them be the some of the first people to hear his album as well.

When I see J Cole, I see myself, I see an educated young man that had a dream and did everything he had to do to bring that dream to life. Now that he has a platform to influence people he is using his gift for the greater good of his world. If you have been listening to J Cole since he came out then what he's doing is not surprising, I knew that he would help change the world. J Cole reminds me of Nas, the way he uses the knowledge he has attained and uses it in his music. We are talking about guy that graduated from St. John's University and didn't even go get his degree, he had other plans and now he is one of the best rappers in the game. One of my favorite J Cole songs is “I Let Nas Down”. This song was another example of how you can turn your spirit into a melody that can change the world. I feel the same way when I write on my website, I bare my soul in hopes that others do the same.

I have yet to reach my full potential, but as I work toward my goal I do my best to give back to the world that has always made sure that I was OK. I was born in the crack era, I had drugs in my system as a baby. My great grandmother raised me until her son took me in at 11, I learned how to be a man in Brooklyn and since 17 I have been giving back to my community. I have worked in camps, after school programs, I have been an assistant dean for high school students. I do motivational speaking, I created a company to inspire people in my community. I just graduated from college and I ended my final semester with a 3.9 GPA. I empower myself with knowledge every day and I live a life my grandparents would be proud of. I can be considered a role model in my community that's why people like J Cole inspire me. When I reach my peak I will inspire my whole generation, I will build my company into a multi-million dollar company that employs people in my community and one day the world. Without any money I share my spirit and connect with people from all over the world. I inspire people in different states, different countries and KoolforLife reaches out to the people that just want love and inspiration. I'm not doing this by myself, I have friends in New York, Toronto, London, North Carolina, India and beyond. Connecting with these amazing people give me confirmation that I am on the right path and that my frequency gets higher each passing day. People like J Cole is food for my soul. Experience and spirit has taught me that love will save the world and hate will continue to destroy it.
