Know Your Triggers, Control Your Thoughts

One of our main goals should be to focus on mastering our emotions and thoughts. It’s hard to get things completed when you are so full of imaginations that create a movie in your head that is a lot of times defeating and full of worry.

I focus a lot on learning how to not be controlled by outside influences that have the power to control my energy.

One big way our energy can be depleted, toyed with and sucked away is by our thoughts; caused by triggers. The triggers can be something that happened to us years ago, another person’s attitude, walking into a room of negative energy, seeing something we witnessed through media and so on. These triggers create mental unrest.

The enemy within all of us is ready to take your thoughts and create chaos in your (our) life.

What are you taking in through your eyes and ears (and even your food)? Is it helpful and positive to assist you to get you to where you need/want to be?

I found out that you can have money in the bank, but if your mind isn’t right, that doesn’t matter. If the mind isn’t right, your mate won’t be right, your children won’t be right, your environment won’t be right.

It’s our responsibility to get right. You CAN control your thoughts, you CAN forgive others and yourself, you CAN change your situation! It takes time...and work to create a mental shift from being worried to being EMPOWERED.

What are you willing to let go of in order to get to a level of inner freedom within? Only you know. Healing and RELEASE must take place on the inside. Positive affirmations are a great tool to use daily to shift your thoughts.

I AM HEALED

I AM STRONG

I AM HEALTHY

I AM WEALTHY

I AM LOVING

I AM AMBITIOUS

I AM INNOVATIVE

I AM A LEADER

I AM A GREAT MOTHER

I AM A GREAT FATHER

I AM A TEAM PLAYER

I AM CREATING CHANG

I AM ENERGETIC

I AM CONFIDENT

Say some of these to yourself daily or create your own. The point is to replace negative feelings and thoughts with positive ones consistently to change your mindset.

🛑When the trigger hits, your mind will start to tell you every terrible thing about yourself or it will try to deter you from completing a task. Fear sets in. You gotta know your triggers and that feeling you feel when the runaway train of thoughts start to flow.

Stop there and counteract the thought:

Example:

“I’m no good”

Reject it and replace it...

“I AM Strong”

“I’m so fat”

 Reject it and replace it...

“I AM feeling energized to exercise(or eat better)”

Do it all the time and watch it grow!!

Remember slow and steady will win the race.

Peace, Love and Power.
