Graduation

I told the universe that I wanted to learn how to control my emotions and my state of being no matter what happens to me during the day. So I woke up and it felt so good getting ready for my big day. As I was getting ready I get a text from my mother saying that she wouldn't be able to make it to one of the most important days of my life. It bothered me but, as I said, I told the universe that I was going to learn how to control my emotions, so I continued getting ready. I got dressed, made sure I had my cap and gown and I headed to the Barclay’s Center. When I arrived, I saw all the graduates waiting to walk and be seated. We had prepared breakfast for us, and I took a few pictures with some of my best friends before it was time for our big moment. Walking out into the Barclay’s was amazing, seeing all the people I sat with in class made my spirit feel good. The graduation was amazing, the speakers inspired me and reminded me that as long as I believed in myself I could do anything.

After graduation, I took some time to think about all the moments and experiences it took me to get my bachelors. Then I started thinking about my company KoolforLife Inc., and how I would play my part in changing the world. I created a company that represents change and a shift in consciousness. The goal is for KoolforLife to remind people that we are all extended family. If we treated each other with respect and love, we wouldn't have as many of the problems that we have in our society. We live in a society that is fear based and teaches people all over the world to live in fear. We live in a world where there is literally enough for all people but a small percentage of the world is in control. We allow TV, radio, and negative role models to influence our lives in a negative way. We use stereotypes as ways to identify and judge other races that we have never been around. We allow injustices to happen to other people across the world and we sit back and do nothing because it's not somebody from our immediate family. As a human race we fail to realize that racism, classism, sexism are systems put in place to disconnect the human race. Think about what was the outcome of slavery and Jim Crow. People of color fought night and day for equal rights and we’ve received those rights, to a certain extent. Sexism is rampant and women are still being exploited. Classism has become the new Jim Crow and systems like credit and inheritance have allowed the rich and wealthy to have better resources and opportunity than the mass population. This creates a serious gap between the wealthy and the poor, eliminating the middle class.

The reason that society is using systems like racism, classism, and sexism is because if seven billion people decided to wake up one day and stick together in unity it would be impossible for the people of this world to be ruled and exploited the way we are. I believe that the human race will only evolve when we connect with one another in oneness. As you can see hate only leads to division and division will continue to be the reason we are being ruled. There shouldn't be poverty in this world, people shouldn't be afraid to lose their lives based on the color of their skin. Every person in this world should have a place to live and should be given equal opportunity to be whatever they want to be. Women should be paid the same as men. There shouldn't be any reason that another human takes another humans life unless that human beings life is in danger of being taken. Hate is disease that will take over your body like cancer. The only reason why we have dreams is the same reason why seeds breed other seeds. The human race was created to co-create with our creator. That means you can turn the dreams into a reality. Imagine a world where everybody looked out for everybody. Imagine a world where the only thing people asked for in return when you helped them was for you to pay it forward and help somebody else.

Honestly I would never pray to my creator to ask for a better life because I was given the tools to do that myself. Nobody is going to save the human race, we have to save ourselves. We have to take accountability for all the things the human race does to destroy this planet. We have to stop blaming the horrific things that happen in this world on the devil and negative energy. We have to start taking more accountability as humans. This world could be our paradise. We could live in a world of peace, love and unity. Humans have the ability to create heaven on earth, the same that is above is the same that is below.

Remember that feeling that we use to have when we were children. We felt anything was possible and our imagination was our best friend. When I was a kid I could sit down for hours playing with toys and enjoying just being happy. I wasn't concerned with all that was wrong with the world, I just made the best out of what I had. When I was young I would think I could do anything I put my mind to and I still do. You see one thing you have to do to make sure you stay happy is hold on to your happy thought. I have loved the Peter Pan storybook since I was a child. The one thing I could remember about how Peter was able to fly was a mixture of fairy dust and he had to hold on to a happy thought to stay in the air. I would apply the same logic to my life, if you want to fly then you have to hold on to a happy thought and never let it go. I think people have to find their inner child again. Remember the child that thought anything was possible, go look deep inside of yourself and find that person. Life is supposed to be adventure that leads you to evolving yourself and becoming your best self. This means that everything isn't going to go your way but through your trials and tribulations you will only get better with time. Hate will continue to destroy the world, love will save it.
